about our sessions

Our swim sessions are an hour long in the summer and 45 minutes long in the winter.  They are supervised by RLSS lifeguards, so that you can relax knowing that you are always in safe hands.

The lake is around 8 feet deep throughout, with a shallow ledge all around the perimeter. Our entry deck allows an easy entry and exit with a ramp and handrail, and our social area with firepit and rustic seating provides the perfect space to chill and chat after your swim. On colder days, our cosy cabin is open with a roaring wood fire.

You can bring your own drinks and snacks or buy on site. We serve a hot drink and a chucky slice of homemade cake for £3.

You will need a tow float for swimming, which you can hire by adding to your booking at the checkout, or purchase on the day.

We take cash and cards on site.

which ticket to buy

There are two types of swim tickets available for every session. The bandholder ticket is for customers who own their own Sports Guardian Medical ID Wristband. The non-bandholder ticket includes the hire of a wristband. Please be sure to enter your energency information in you select this ticket.

We recommend that regular swimmers invest in a Sports Guardian wristband as it saves time and money. It helps us to make your wild swimming experience safer and also keeps a log of all your swims, including time in the water and water temperature.

If you use the link below to access to Sports Guardian shop you will be able to buy at the discounted rate of £15.95 (usual price £21.95) as you are a Broadfields customer.
